Staverton Community Kindergarten

In aligning with our continual commitment to reconciliation and respect, Staverton Kindergarten acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional custodians of the land on which our building stands and we pay respect to the Yuggera people for their care of the land. We also acknowledge and pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging.

We are a Lady Gowrie affiliated Kindergarten in the inner-Western suburbs of Brisbane. The teaching staff at Staverton have a strong commitment to and passion for the natural environment. We prioritise the children’s exposure to the natural environment both inside and outside the classroom. We recognise the many benefits of engaging with nature, not only to children’s cognitive and physical development, but also to their emotional wellbeing. We strive to support our families in finding a variety of ways to enjoy each other in nature.
