Muddy Hands Australia Report

This review looks at how much time children in Australia and around the world spend playing and learning outside as part of the school day. It includes a summary of the wide-ranging literature about why outdoor learning and play are important and an overview of the impact of the Outdoor Classroom Day movement.

The review has been funded by the Omo/Dirt is Good team in Australia, with support from Unilever’s Dirt is Good Global team, as part of their support for Outdoor Classroom Day in Australia and worldwide. The views expressed in this review do not necessarily reflect that of the funders. Find out more about Omo’s purpose, ‘Dirt is Good’, by visiting: https://www.omo.com/au/dirt-is-good.html
